Columbia Heights Jamboree

Each summer the Columbia Heights Lions Club hosts this city-wide festival, complete with sports tournaments, a medallion hunt, a car show, a parade, a beer garden, a carnival, an art and info fair, and much more!

At the Zero Waste carnival, HeightsNEXT volunteers are “garbage guides” directing recycling and compost to their proper bins. This simple assistance teaches people that not all garbage needs to go in a landfill.
