
Our annual fundraising event includes over 30 breweries, an assortment of food trucks, a silent auction, a DJ, and a very happy crowd. That’s why we need people like you to volunteer at Cheers for Beers! This is easily our biggest event of the year, so planning, preparation, operation, and cleanup all need multiple people on staff to make it work.

When
Typically, Cheers for Beers is held in early May, as a way to welcome summer to the fine residents of Columbia Heights. Planning begins around January.

Planning usually takes place online or at public meeting spaces such as the library, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

- Attend planning meetings

- Load-in event gear

- Staff the event
- Load-out event gear
- Attend retrospective meeting
