Spread some cold weather cheer as the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train passes through Columbia Heights! Every winter, East Side Neighborhood Services sponsors this stop by , spreading awe and wonder across North America with it’s fold-out stage and original music act! Donations are collected for East Side’s food programs, benefiting multiple food shelves across Hennepin County.
Waiting for the train can be chilly, so HeightsNEXT heats up the scene by leading holiday carols and passing out treats around bonfires. In the past, this has been done with books of lyrics, or even a large projector karaoke screen!
